Hello, hello–and welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
I’m a writer and editor living in the quirky yet lovely city of Hamilton, Ontario. You can read a selection of my published non-fiction here. I write mostly about the intersection of faith, art, culture, and justice.
By day I am a communications and marketing writer for World Renew, a relief and development agency; during evenings and weekends, I let short stories, essays, and other such creative writing out to play. I also spend a few hours each week as the editor of Relief Journal‘s blog.
I received my MFA in Creative Writing from Seattle Pacific University, where I studied with Deborah Joy Corey and Gina Ochsner (and fell ever deeper in love with tragicomic fiction).
I’m also a big believer in the bliss of screen-free spaces in between all of this busyness. So you’ll also find me browsing bookstores, walking trails, watching movies, eating excellent meals with my husband, or playing with our pesky casts.
Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy reading along.
Oh, and if you’d like to connect further, feel free to drop me an email at adelewritermail (at) gmail (dot) com. You are also welcome to follow me on Twitter here.)
